Since the beginning of science, we have learnt that the brain is “the centre of the nervous system”, as all activities, feelings and emotions stem from this very organ. The fitter and healthier our brain is, the better we feel, understand and act in situations. Therefore, to say that the workings of all our other organs depend upon the quality of our brain is not in the least incorrect.
When speaking in universal terms, the brain can be replaced with the Earth. As human beings, Earth is the only home we have, and just like one would expect feelings of affection towards members of their household, it is necessary to carry a similar fondness for the rest of humanity. The purpose is to create feelings of empathy, kindness, generosity, and goodwill in general for mankind. Just as you would nourish your brain by inculcating positive energies and happy thoughts, you must create this happiness and positivity for the Earth as well. We cannot exist as individuals and the best bet is to make friends, establish relationships, and nurture them for continuous constructive growth. Not much different than the world’s economy. A lone organization may do well but it can never be the best without integrating itself with its’ related environment.
This gives rise to the concept of synergy and its’ impeccable role in economic growth. Agreeing with this thought, Patrick Lencioni, New York Times best-selling author says, “Team synergy has an extraordinary impact on business results.” In other words, synergy is when one plus one equals five. If another such company doesn’t do well in production but has an impressive logistical system, then they both may join hands to create something exceptional for the people. Therefore, in spite of being elusive, it is one of the most important objectives of a successful business. Especially in present times, it should be made a priority when focusing on efficiency, effectiveness and the generated revenue. Assuredly, when priorities are shifted from independent work to joint efforts, the economical struggle is sure to ease out, and with it, our own.
